“ Happy to not be traveling and in town on a weekend! Stopped by Madison City Farmers Market to grab my treats and headed to check out one of the newest additions to the Northern Alabama food scene, Zanotta’s. Named after the grandfather of one of the owners, Joe, it has a personal touch, from the menu to the interior (which Joe did most of the woodwork himself). Partnering with The Halls, Tammy, John, and Joe have created another fantastic option for historic Madison! We are really looking forward to checking out their dinner service, live jazz Fridays and Saturdays! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area… ”
“ My husband and I visited Zanotta’s last night for the first time. I did make a reservation and they seated us immediately. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. We had decided to each order an entree and split a salad. She recommended that he have a salad as his side and for me to do a half salad instead of us splitting. The salad was so good and my margarita flatbread was delicious! The crust was the perfect crispness and the amount of cheese was just right. I was going to get a photo of my husband’s meatball sub, but as soon as he finished the prayer, he took his first bite () and the rest was history. ”

“ Zanotta’s was incredible for brunch! The menu is limited but mighty. Everything we had tasted incredible, particularly the sausage and potatoes. The breakfast sandwich was well seasoned and the flavors were so good together! The Whipped Ricotta toast was so yummy and filling without being heavy. The fruit was so fresh on top! This place offers fancy vibes for good prices and is a great girls brunch place or fancy date spot! Tim and Dawn were so attentive, and we really enjoyed having them serve our table! ”
“ The family and I tried Zanottas for the first time. The Italian Margherita Iordered was delicious. We ordered the fried calamari and gluten free flatbed for appetizers. The calamari rings were thick and deep fried in a heavy breading. I tend to like the usual light breading with lemon, so I was a bit disappointed, but it was okay. The gluten free flatbeef was tasty and cooked perfectly. We ordered the chicken Alfredo, which was very good. I ordered the chicken parmesean and it was wonderful. Chicken was tender, the sauce was delicious and the cheese fresh. We appreciated the red pepper and parmesean cheese on the table. Mom ordered the zoodles with marinara. Another hit becauae she is gluten free, but she thought the sauce was a little sweet. I thought it was perfect. All in all, I'm glad they are here and look forward to more meals at Zanottas. ”
“ A fantastic new addition to Old Town Madison, set in a charming 1800s building that adds so much character to the experience! I started with the Margherita Italiana cocktail—refreshing and delicious. For appetizers, we shared the meatball with marinara and the maza crostini. The marinara sauce was especially incredible. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken pasta piccata on angel hair, and it did not disappoint! Others in my group enjoyed their dishes as well—one had the Caesar salad with chicken, another the chicken Alfredo—and both said they loved their meals and will definitely be back. ”

I ordered a mix of plates to share and every single one was delicious. The vibe is just as good as the food — warm, welcoming, and a great spot whether you’re with friends or on a date. Special shoutout to our server, Timmy — super friendly, attentive without hovering, and made the whole experience even better. We literally booked a dinner reservation on our way out because we couldn’t wait to come back. Highly recommend — easily one of the best brunch spots in Huntsville. ”
